Volunteers
Dear Potential Volunteers,
The 12th Annual Rome Beer Festival is approaching and we need YOUR help as fellow connoisseurs of the arts and beer! Please review the information below and respond as soon as possible if you want to participate as a volunteer.
Basics (What/When/Where):
- Rome Beer Fest (a fundraiser for the Rome Area Council for the Arts)
- Saturday, November 2, 2019
- Begins at 1:00 pm (opens to VIP ticket holders at 12pm)
- Heritage Park, Rome, Georgia
Volunteer Criteria:
- Must be 21+ and have a valid ID
- Must be enthusiastic about promoting the arts … and beer
Volunteer Benefits:

- Free Beer Festival admission (at least a $40 savings!)
- Free Beer Festival 16oz commemorative cup
Additional Info:
* Volunteers may elect to volunteer for 1/2 of the event OR for the entire event. If you volunteer for 1/2 of the event, we will assign you to either the first shift or the second shift.
* All volunteers must arrive by 11:00 am on the day of the festival for ID checks, table and shift assignments, and a short beer pouring/tasting orientation.
* The tables will not necessarily be under tents – and the festival is “rain or shine” – so be prepared with appropriate accessories (e.g., hats, sunscreen, galoshes, ponchos, etc …)

(Keep in mind that while we do ask for your preferences, we will do our best to accommodate them, e.g., requests to work specific shifts and/or with specific individuals. However, we cannot guarantee any assignments, so you must be willing to work either shift.)
If you know someone else who might be interested, please share the website and have him/her read all the details and fill out the form. We need 80+ enthusiastic, smart, dependable, art-loving and beer-drinking volunteers to make this event a success! Volunteer responses have been numerous and fast in the past years, so please reply only if you know you can definitely volunteer on that day during these times. After we have chosen our 80+ volunteers, we will start a wait list in the case of volunteer cancellations.
